Maybe you (and every one else here) just need to accept that this is the way things are... and that Jim obviously wants it this way???
We are his fans, we are connected to him through his music... but that relationship is (and should be) onesided. You cannot expect him to treat you like anything other than what you are... a fan who wants to know more than he/she has a right to expect.
