Why couldn't it have been a stupid publicity stunt? If he was really concerned about Jim, he would have contacted somebody close to Jim. He knows quite a few. The fact is that his video was bizzare, asking anybody who had any information about Jim's health to contact him. I'm telling you, it was a stupid attempt to publicly connect himself to Jim. He always does that. I think his management must have seen the video and made him take it down (it was only up for a short time).

His manager (Irving Azoff) would have realised that it made him look foolish. I don't think Meat voluntarily took it down or he wouldn't have said that people who didn't like it can "F Off", as Scaramouche reported.

Although perhaps Rob is right that the Meat Loaf bashing is getting tiresome. Ryan advised me not to comment on this subject and I followed his advise for about 48 hours. However, it made me cross that some posters started to blame JD and members of "Jim's camp" for not discussing something which Jim doesn't want to be made public. Then I read Scaramouche's post about Meat saying people can "F Off" and I couldn't resist making some kind of comment.

I am convinced that Jim's old friend and partner has betrayed him (and not for the first time). I now regret starting this thread because it is boring to keep bashing the Loaf (as Rob correctly points out). I should have continued to take Ryan's very mature advise.
