You are right. Irving Azoff is a very heavy hitter and Meat Loaf must have something going for him. I thought he did a brilliant acting job when he guest starred in an episode of "House". I wouldn't say that he is washed-up. However, it is possible for a great artist to be insecure and to do foolish things. I think he has a love/hate realtionship with Jim. They are like brothers who fight and sometimes ignore each other. Don't forget that Meat had to escape his father and run away from home when he was still a child after the old man tried to kill him. He is insecure and the video about Jim's health was foolish but he's not a terrible person and he's certainly not washed up. I really hope that Irving can get him a major role in a great film. He could win an Oscar. You never know. But a great manager once said that famous actors should not do interviews. There's a reason for that.
