| Thanks for the kind words as usual, JG. I see your point about ending with the "angry love" line. When I sing this myself, I actually come back to that after the final verse, as the closing refrain. The last verse is my least favorite, but I wanted to book-end with the first verse, and make it clear that the speaker is at the karaoke bar, since the first verse only hints at it. Rhyming "karaoke" with "hokey pokey" nearly makes my flesh crawl, but its all I could think of and, again, I wasn't writing it as a serious piece, anyway, so I just went with it. And I'm with you on the rainbow. I don't think any movement should be co-opting universal symbols, particularly those that tend to be near and dear to children, for their own agendas. The upside down pink triangle worked just fine, and there was no mistaking it for anything else. > Awesome!
