I guess it depends on what day the interviewer catches them, what mood they're in, who they've just got off the phone to and who they've just been sued by... It's a different world... :shrugs: I can understand Jim adopting a directorial role in the preparation for the Bat recordings, with Meat drawing on his experience up to that point as an actor suggesting alternatives? Maybe...? It's hard to say, of course, without knowing what the relationship was like between the two of them back then. With regard to Bat 3, I can well believe that he cried whilst listening to it... > A recent interview were Meat has a little dig at Jim > and/or Steinman fans, about vocals on Bat 1? > > I always thought that Jim spent a lot of time teaching > Meat the phrasings for the Bat 1 songs, so that Meat > effectively sang them like Jim would? > > He also disses Bat 3 again.
