Yes, the USA looked quite impressive. Despite not even being able to call the game they were playing by it's correct name, they could pass the ball to members of their own team rather than empty spaces and not give the ball to the other teams players cheaply.
All things that the team representing the country that actually invented the game couldn't do. At least England are the best at making runs down the wing and then pumping useless balls onto the heads of defenders or over everyone in the box. That's the aim of the game isn't it?
Come on England, do much better in the rest of your games or don't bother fucking coming back.
