I remember when Jim posted his demo, that Smeghead said he didn't like the 'God Speeds' as it was just recycling from Bad4Good.
However I think they make perfect sense (and good use of recycling) as long as they are sung by the Gothamites, and not Batman? I also think 'speed all the evil away' works better (in the Batman context) than just 'speed us away'.
