I've long thought that the El Mocambo radio broadcast is my favourite of the early Meat Loaf shows. The problem is that if it is played through decent speakers that pops, clicks, crackles, hiss, squeaks, burps, farts, etc become more noticeable.
I've had a fair bit of time on my hands recently and downloaded a couple of new toys so I set about fixing the above problems and so far it sounds a lot better. The only problems are BOOH which is pretty shitty for the first couple of minutes and Bolero which is pretty shitty for most of it.
Does anyone have a rip of the promo LP of this concert that they would be willing to send in my direction, hopefully with an intact BOOH? Needless to say this whole exercise will be uploaded for public consumption once I've finished.
