| http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5m8XdG3Koag It's a Japanese drama from 1985-1986, featuring "Konya Wa Angel" (Tonight is what it means to be young) as the theme song. "Janus" is pronounced "Yanus". I was happy to have found this, but then I watched it, and... there's something kind of nightmarish about it. Not scary, just weird and nightmarish. Then I found out it's based on a horror manga: http://www.thirteens.net/~ghc/misc/ma/miyawaki.htm So that makes sense now... I still don't know how Megumi Shiina also got to record and release "Kanashimi wa Tsudzukanai" (Good Girls Go To Heaven) in 1986 - several years before Pandora's Box. It's really bugging me. To the level that if I got run over tomorrow, I'd become a ghost and haunt people until I found out how she got to record that. (A: because if it was readily available as a song for anyone to record, I'm sure Meat Loaf would have recorded it, and B: because Jim was so protective of his songs, how come she released this without any involvement from him?) | |
