SACD is tied done by Sony to stop copying, and one of the things they mandated is that players don't send the 5 channels to the analogue line outputs. Also SACD disks don't play in PC CD/DVD drives. So to do what you're suggesting would involve connecting a recorder of some sort to the 4 speaker outputs, probably via a resistor network to get the level down. After that you've have 4 channels or 2 if you mix it down to stereo. Do-able, but a bit of work. Dave | |
