| Having listened to Jim's stuff a million times, I can't help but occasionally notice a mistake or two. (This is sort of like an avid movie fan who notices "goofs.") My favorite two are both in "It's All Coming Back To Me Now." At 3:42, Celine sings, "And whenever you tried to hurt me, I just hurt you even WORST and so much deeper." (The Meat Loaf-Marion Raven duet, through no fault of Jim's, also leads off with an insane pronunciation mistake -- Can anyone identify it?) Also, at 5:29 in the Celine version, during the climactic chorus, a weird-sounding and obviously overdubbed guitar comes in just fine but then cuts out, quite noticeably, too early. It is a compliment to Jim that, fifteen years on, the songs are still compelling and more than worthy of further exploration and discovery. MD | |
