I'm completely with you, Gavan! I got hooked a few months back...actually had to buy more RAM for my computer in order to get GoogleEarth running smoothly. It's amazing to zoom in on places I've visited, old childhood homes, etc.
I do a lot of cycling here in Colorado. Google Earth is indispensible for calculating miles accumulated on rides, planning routes, etc. Fascinating indeed!
