Hopefully the good folks on BatMusical won't get cross if I try to answer your question. The thing is that Jim must be in agreement about the current gag orders. That is stating the obvious for anyone who wants to hate me for trying to publish inside information. What power on earth could stop Jim from communicating against his will? Smeghead's scenario was a joke. It was funny but not actually based in reality. I know that both Steve and Elva have urged Jim not to say anything because it might be bad for the show. There are a number of reasons for this. One being that members of the creative team can change and then sites like BroadwayWorld will display inaccurate information. However, Jim is the King of his world and members of the court like Steve and Elva can only plead with his majesty. It is stating the obvious to say that he agrees with the advice (and it is only advice - not an order - you can't give the King orders). Although Jim absolutley loves communicating with his fans and the situation is only temporary. It has been a long time for something that is temporary but the silence will end and a new era will begin. I promise you its right around the corner.

Forgive my ignorance. I don't have the histroical knowledge that a Ryan has. Hasn't Steve Rinkoff been around for quite a while? I thought that he must surely have been because he is the most senior member of Jim's "Tanz" team. Steve Margoshes is a musical genius but I always get the impression that Rinkoff is above even him. Maybe I am wrong though. If anyone disagrees, please don't accuse me of lying, I am merely making a mistake. Rink is also a very senior member of the "BOOH" creative team - more senior than Kasim (although he only has power over the actual music - but that is perhaps the most important aspect of the show).
