It may be that we do agree but that there is simply a misunderstanding. Did you see the film "Meat Loaf: In Search Of Paradise"? Meat collapses after every show. He lies on the floor and requires oxygen. Full length concerts are very punishing for him. That's why I think he would be more comfortable if he could make decent money and achieve artistic success by making films or at least doing more things like "House" on TV.

The one time that you refer to was a very serious collapse, different from the end of each show collapses.

In the "Meat Loaf: In Search Of Paradise" film, Kasim explains that he knew that this collapse was different from the rest and he tried to alert everyone but they were saying that it was just Meat doing his normal thing. Kasim said that it took him ages to convince everyone else backstage that Meat needed an ambulance to go to hospital.

Thank goodness for the very intelligent and sensitive Kasim. Meat could have died.

When I talked about Meat collapsing, I was talking about the physical discomfort he is in after finishing a punishing show.

This is why I think he should play Hook in "BOOH" (not that he necessarily will) because he could perform live but he wouldn't be on stage all the time. Hopefully it would be less punishing for him. And Karla could play Mrs. Hook (not that she necessarily will).

It would be great to reunite Meat and Karla to sing "Paradise" after all these years. Although I must stress that this is just an idea which is floating around.
