That was the girl who he treated at the start of the film at the Christmas party for a drug overdose. She warned him at the secret cult party and then eventually "sacrificed" herself. She was then dead the next day in the morgue. Whether or not her death was caused by the underground cult people or not is a bit of a mystery but that's what was intended I think.

I think it's been one of his best parts along with Collateral I'd say. I'm not a big fan of him but I think he did quite well in Eyes Wide Shut.
