Markus, I know what you mean but Jim has heard plenty of negative comments from people close to him. Lots of people who are fans of Jim's music don't like the whole Peter Pan thing. I am just saying that he will be pleased when a fan like you does like the concept. I don't think you will be ass kissing because it sounds like you really think it is a good idea for Jim to insist that the BOOH show will be Peter Pan (although a completely original Peter Pan). I would never suggest that you tell Jim you love his Peter Pan idea if you don't. Just to make him feel good. Jim is actually a very very strong individual and he hasn't lost faith in his concept despite fans, people close to him and industry types (like potential directors) asking him to do another story. As you probably know from very old Jim blogs, the successful screenwriter Stuart Beattie (Pirates Of The Caribbean)loves Jim and really wants to write a BOOH script (in fact he has done rough drafts for two different stories) but he has told Jim that he doesn't even want to touch Peter Pan. So Jim is not surrounded by ass kissers. He needs to hear that some people love the idea he is determined to stick with. Of course you wouldn't want him surrounded by the opposite of ass kissing (whatever that is). If you really like Jim's idea, (I think you said it was "cool"), then its good that you have said it in public, on a board which Jim sometimes reads. It is not ass kissing. It would be ass kissing if you hated the idea but told Jim that you loved it. You said you thought the Peter Pan idea was really cool. You mention Meat Loaf but Jim allows freedom of speech much more than Meat does. From what friends who belong to Meat's board have told me.
