| About halfway through. He collapsed just at the end of All Revved Up, I had heard about his backstage collapses and did in fact wonder if it was a part of the show, but when someone actually broke off to check him, we all knew it was NOT part of the act. Next, bizarrely, followed a near pitch perfect rendition of Testify which I suspect was the album vocal track, or some kind of miracle, perhaps brought on by an oxygen high...? Anyway, up next was Anything For Love and Meat was clearly struggling. It was just him and Mark Alexander on the piano and he couldn't quite reach the end of the first chorus, before almost on the brink of tears, he apologised to the audience and walked offstage. It was absolutely heartbreaking, and when the house lights came up everyone was just in a very well-lit state of shock. The entire audience then poured out into the London night, wondering what the hell we'd just seen. > > I was at both shows, the tension after he left the stage > > that night was tangible. > > How far was he into the show when he left the stage?
