Tom Baker was also really good as the villain in Ray Harryhausen's 1974 film "The Golden Voyage of Sinbad", which is probably my favourite film of Ray's.
I think this might have actually led to him being cast in "Doctor Who" in the first place. Of course, I could be very wrong about that. I'll have to look into it more. But see the Harryhausen film if you're a fan of Tom's, and any other Harryhausen film you can find. He is a true genius. True genius.
