It was an artisitc and financial failure and its transfer to the West End was cancelled. I think the kind of songs that they write work in the U2 context but they are not theatrical songs like Jim's songs. Also, with a 52 million dollar budget, Ryan calculated that they will have to have full houses for five years just to break even. Why can't you stand Bono? I don't like him much myself. I was really surprised that he was short listed for the Nobel Peace Prize. Some experts think that he will actually win next year. | |
