For me, the difference is in the feeling I get when I listen to these versions.
Somehow, in Jim's version, I always have the feeling that he blames himself for the fact that she cheated on him. Like he gave her all he had to offer, and what he just wasn't enough... He seems mostly pissed that he couldn't be what she wanted...
In Meat's version, it feels more like he blames her for cheating. Like he gave her all he had to offer, and she had to go and find something else or something more... He seems mostly pissed that she wanted more...

Dunno if this makes sense, it's a feeling-thing and those are hard to put into words... but based on that feeling (and on the intensity, you just can't beat Jim on being intense) I've always preferred Jim's version, cause it's closest to how I react.
