| End of the day, it's a Meat Loaf concert, not a Jim Steinman concert. I don't think Meat has ever disrespected Jim's songs musically. Of course the arrangements will differ from tour to tour - that makes life interesting - and some things will work better than others. As far AFL goes - I think the original is just too long for Meat to fit into his shows these days. I also think it's one of the songs he really struggles to sing, which is ironic as it's his biggest ever hit single in just about every country. | |
