Yes, that is correct. One of the greatest moments in the making of any musical in the history of the art form, right up there with the omittion of "Boys and Girls like you and me" from the out of town tryout of "Oklahoma!" when it was quite brilliantly decided that all the moment needed was a reprise of "People will say we're in love" except now they were finally honest about their love!
And "Something Wonderful" from "The King and I" was written later on also, and I cannot imagine that score without it. It would seem so incomplete now.

He was in "Teddy and Alice", the Broadway flop from the 80s, and he was connected with "The Confidence Man" at one point but that never happened. Sad, considering how brilliant he was in "Sweeney". I'm picturing him actually singing "Milady", my God.

If I saw him walking around, I don't know how I would be able to stop myself from hiding away somewhere so I could yell out SNAAAAAPE!!! lol, no, just kidding...
