| Ryan, this conversation doesn't really belong in the "Todd Rundgren - Studio Wizard" thread, so I am starting a new thread. I hope nobody minds. You wrote: > But would Freddie have gone onto a message forum shouting > abuse at people and calling them bad names? And when Meat > Loaf does that, is that still part of his stage persona? No. Freddie was a very gentle person off stage. He would have never become angry at his fans. He was much more like Jim than Meat. Both you and Conas have made very valid points, so I take back what I said about Meat being shy. Sorry. I'm not sure if Meat shouting at his fans is part of his stage persona. That's an interesting question. Perhaps someone wiser than me could answer that. How bad does the abuse get? How often does it happen? I have never actually witnessed Meat Loaf doing this. The only thing I know is that he has made embarrassing public attempts to get Jim's attention. Like when he said he was concerned about Jim's health on You Tube. I have recently joined Meat's board but I am finding it difficult to get used to all the navigation required. I prefer the simplicity of this board. Its much easier to see what has been posted. | |
