Personally, I can't see why a web-based (through, say, bandcamp.com) or small-scale (independent) CD release of Jim's demo's/outtakes/shelved material would not be a big success. Well, there's legal/contractual reasons, but still... how could making stuff available be a bad thing?

My creditcard would hate me, but I'd be all over that.
