As far as design goes, what about the cover of "The White Album"? Jim has said that its one of his favourite albums of all time because its like entering into another world. Yet the cover is so wonderfully simple. Of course "Sgt. Pepper's" is fascinating. I think there was a problem with the image rights to all the people featured. But why do you choose it if its the "worst expensive coverart produced at the time"? Or am I misunderstanding? I think the design of "The White Album" was an attempt to have a cover which was completely different from the previous year's "Sgt. Pepper's". As far as "Dangerous" goes, yes, that was brilliant. The eyes really stick out. Did you notice that the new Michael Jackson album (to be released soon) is sort of a collage of different phases of Michael's career? Including the "Dangerous" image. | |
