Meat always seems to schedule concerts to be filmed when he is ill, so I think it's just a case of persistent bad luck.

Live at Wembley is a great concert, but was poorly produced for CD. It was done on the cheap by Meat's brother in law to get him out of his contract with Arista (I think) who were expecting one last album from him. Songs are edited badly, the crowd noise is terrible, Meat's voice is too low in the mix and the volume is all over the place. A remaster of this show would be much appreciated.

Live Around The World is an amazing album and any Jim fan should already have it in their collection.

Meat had a cold during the Storytellers show, and therefore does not sound good. This isn't helped by the poor mixing on the DVD, where most of the sound is put on the left channel, and sod all on the right. A lot of the songs were redone for the CD, or taken from a previous show at the Hard Rock Cafe. This sounds much better.

The MSO DVD was filmed a few months after Meat had done his first sack of potatoes impression on stage, so he wasn't 100%. Despite that I think it was a great show. The CD is less wonderful, especially as it starts with the last song of the night.

The less said about the 3 Bats Live show the better really, and the CD is even worse in that it contains nothing that is not available on the DVD.

I really don't understand why Meat has released so few live CDs. There must be shitloads of awesome stuff rotting away that could be making money for him.
