I quite believe that Meat has chipped in with 'ideas' for songs over the years, but I think he (sometimes) interprets this as co-writing, which it 'aint.

The real skill is converting an idea into great music & lyrics, and that is down to Jim.

If Meat had such a notable writing contribution then you would think he would demand a co-write credit on at least a couple of songs (on the stuff they've done together) and yet there are none. That says it all to me.

On this subject, I'm surprised (as far as we know) that Jim and Meat have never sat down and written something together.
