I still love the feeling I got from the first book, when everything was new and funny... but have to admit all books have their own charm and appeal.
For me, least fave is Phoenix, I think it's a bit slow in places, too much info, too much background and very little forward movement, but I see the purpose it has in the series and understanding that makes it easier to read...
Initially I had the same attitude towards HP as many others on this board, if it's that popular, I don't want to read it... but as I worked as a high-school English teacher for a couple of years, I kind of had to look into them to see what all my kids were reading... and I kind of got stuck...
Same thing for Twilight, really... but I have to admit, great books (though I HATE Bella... what a whining hag) but them movies is a waste of time... sigh...
