I thought I did go into detail about how I got into Farscape... maybe not and I dreamt it, lol.
Anyways I am a big fan of Moulin Rouge. A good friend of mine showed me two fan made music videos of Farscape with music from that movie (El Tango de Roxanne and Come What May). It really perked my interest. A few months later a buddy of mine had a Net Flix account and he rented the season's for us to watch. The rest is history, hahahaha. I became extremely hooked on the amazing story telling, characterizations, "universe" the show created, and attention to detail. I strongly suggest it for any and all Sci Fi fans, HOWEVER the one point against it (and what got it canceled) is that it has a lot of long story arcs and some episodes can be very difficult to jump into if you havnt been watching from the beginning.
Ive tried to watch 2001 about three times, and still havnt got through it. I love the begining segment though with the "early man" creatures. Maybe someday Ill get through it to the end.
