Well, as I understand it, it's Simon's company's show so Louis is basically employed to perform a function on that show, anything he does outside of that is his own business I guess. I suspect what actually happened was they recognised that Wagner was good for pulling in votes (revenue) due to his 'unique' appeal but that it got out of hand; hence the 'smear' campaign in most of the tabloid newspapers surrounding his benefits and cannabis use.
Well, I actually voted for my local Lib Dem MP (who didn't get in btw.) I live in one of those areas where the clichéd monkey could get in for the Tories! So I'm kinda glad that the Lib Dems did as well as they did but they're still the lesser of three evils.
