| Well at one point or another each one has been my favorite. Originally when I was younger I loved Return of the Jedi because of Jabba's palace, the Ewoks (I love the little guys), and the final duel/space battle in the climax. Then I found myself liking the original more because it has that "anything can happen" feel to it, since it doesnt have any established mythos or anything to run it. But recently Ive enjoyed Empire about the same as A New Hope. This is because of the hopelessness we are left with at the ending. It isnt something you get in movies anymore, though it is a pretty obvious set up for a sequel (which we get far too often, lol). All in all, I may change my answer on any given day which is why i really enjoy all three as a whole. Three parts to an act if you will.
