According to Wikipedia, he has done a lot of work with very famous artists but not all of it was "hit" material like the Eurythmics "Sweet Dreams" (for example). He had a hit with "The Tourists" (although Annie was the singer)before the Eurythmics and he co-wrote the munber one single "Stay" for his wife's "Shakespeare Sister". Also, he enjoyed some success with Terry Hall.

I wonder if he is the right choice for composer of a musical but I hope he is because I always liked the Eurythmics, I like him and think the stroy of Ghost has more chance of success than the story of Barbarella.

According to Wikipedia:

Barbarella is a musical based on the film Barbarella, which in turn was based on a French science fiction comic book created by Jean-Claude Forest. The story is about Barbarella, a young woman who has numerous adventures, often involving sex, while journeying around the galaxy.

The musical was written by British composer Dave Stewart and premiered in Vienna, Austria on March 11, 2004. The title role was played by Nina Proll (Austrian Homepage). The musical closed on January 1, 2005. A cast recording was made, but only 100 copies were pressed for the public. These were distributed by lottery to members of the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien (United Stages of Vienna)'s "Musical Club".
