No, you're right! I don't understand it either. "Jekyll & Hyde" and "The Scarlet Pimpernel" should have been produced professionally in the West End.
And it's the same with Australia.
We ALMOST got "Jekyll & Hyde" but then it was cancelled. Since then, nothing.

In the West End, I don't believe so. "Jekyll & Hyde" is supposed to be touring again in the UK. Bill Kenwright is producing. He was supposed to produce "Cyrano de Bergerac", the next musical by Wildhorn and Leslie Bricusse, in the West End in 2006 but that never happened. I think the director of "Blood Brothers" was involved, I *think*

He's never said anything about it in the media, as far as I'm aware. I've only ever seen it mentioned in his bio for his various productions.
