It's a shame that you heard that about Alec Guiness. My uncle worked for him in the years before he died and prior to that I was fortunate enough to receive an autograph, signed Obi-Wan Kenobi in brackets.

The point is that I think these things are always exaggerated, plus I believe he was a Catholic, which perhaps explains why he was irritated by the 'mystical mumbo-jumbo' concept of Star Wars...? Anyway, it's a tribute to him as an actor that he did the job he did with Mr Kenobi if he disliked the material.

I'm not sure whether I'd have anything worthwhile to contribute if I met Mr Steinman as a person, although I'd love to. It'd be like the scene from Wayne's World where they meet Alice Cooper, just with less bowing and more lock-jaw ;)
