Go to the Tools menu, then click on Options. One of the tabs on the box that appears will say Rip or Ripping Music or something similar. Now you'll be able to change the file type you're ripping to and it's quality.
The best file type to rip to is a .wav, but that will leave you with a gargantuan size file to upload. Most people usually prefer .mp3 to .wma but they're both about the same. The main point to remember is to slide the bar across to 'best quality' instead of 'smallest size.' Unless you have a terrible sound system or terrible ears you'll want to rip all your music in the best possible quality as the difference is noticeable.
