Don't like Cowell in the music industry.....he's 'lowest common denominator' blah, and the total opposite to Jim, Muse, Arcade Fire, Springsteen etc.
He heaps upon us bland cover versions with god awful last chorus key changes, which have kept Tesco's bargain bins filled for years.
Cowell is only interested in Cowell......enough already!
As for 'I enjoy working with him (Jim)...' ,as far as I know they only 'collaborated' on the Westlife 'Eclipse' remix. I bet the song files were e-mailed to Jim/Rinkoff with the message 'make it epic'; Cowell probably never talked to them, let alone met them.
BTW - I think this years Idol (with Steven Tyler) is the best it's been for years.
