Obviously the 'turnarounds' originate from The Dream Engine and I think I read that he may have written the song for a Nosferatu musical (the title suggests Vampires).
However, I would guess he just wrote it as a stand alone song, for no-one in particular (sorry Meat), and when Bonnie came along he obviously found the voice to do it.
