I don't know. But remember that song was released in 1998 and Meat Loaf didn't record another album for 8 years after "Welcome to the Neighbourhood". ("The Very Best of Meat Loaf" contained 3 new songs but I wouldn't call that an album.)

Diane had 2 songs on "Couldn't have said it better" from 2003, "You're right, I was wrong" and "Unsaid". "Couldn't have said it better" was originally going to be called "Testify" and there was actually a promo released with this tracklist

Promo Tracklist:

1. Testify
2. Did I Say That?
3. Tear Me Down
4. Why Isn't That Enough
5. Love You Out Loud
6. Man Of Steel
7. Unsaid
8. Do It!
9. You're Right, I Was Wrong
10. Decadent Wish
11. Did I Say That? (Radio Edit)

And then the title was changed to "Couldn't have said it better", two songs were dropped, and three songs were added. The two songs that were dropped were released as B sides on the various single releases, and one of these songs was the Diane Warren song "Unsaid" and I believe that she was rather upset that this got removed from the album.

I wonder why she wasn't involved with "Hang Cool..."
