Water Seller's Song.
I played this role once in an improv. version of the play (Good Human of Chezuan), so we weren't really going by the letter of the text, so the song I sung wasn't the original,
just some simple lines penned down by myself.
In English something like this..
'Rain, rain,
It's no blessing for me.
It's killing my business,
when it's pouring from the sky !'
Original Dutch text:
'Regen, regen,
't is voor mij geen zegen.
'T draait mijn handeltje de nek om,
als 't met bakken uit de hemel komt !'
Funny thing is the way I sang it is pretty close to the version on this demo ...but what else would you expect from a Steinmaniac ?! :-D
Also...Why are those Chezuan songs in MTYD ?!?
