Great, great lyrics. And the way Rory snarls over 'hurt' cuts deep!
It's a shame they were removed in the studio versions. I presume it was because the sadomasochistic overtones didn't sit too well with Graham and Russell!
I love these kind of stein-lyrics - the ones that dwell in that unsettling space between violence and sexuality. All Revved up springs to mind:
'Someone got to draw first blood -
Oooh I got to draw first blood'
