I much prefer Fire Inc's lyrics, to me its more intimate and emotional, like two lovers only just realising what they meant to each other. Meats version is more about the thrill of the night, more like a fling, then again, maybe the songs are part of one bigger story? Maybe Meats version is at the start of a relationship, when everything is new and exciting, and the Fire Inc version is when they stop playing around and really start to make a go of it. Knowing Jim's style, that really wouldn't surprise me if that was his thinking behind it
