Well that's the kicker, I couldn't really say. I have listened to nothing but the Deluxe Edition for some time now. I don't have the original 92 CD on me, and at any rate don't really have any decent set-up to compare the two.
(Currently moving. Got all my stuff in boxes at one place, all my furniture in pieces at another, etc etc. Even then, not sure I'd know where my 92 CD was anyhow).
In and of itself, it sounds great. Good / better / best I couldn't really say. Go ahead and buy it I say.
