| Jim's music is known sure, but the man himself? Sadly, not so much. Ask anyone about Anything for Love or Total Elipse of the Heart, and people will sing the praises of Meat and Bonnie, most of the time assuming they wrote the songs. The Bat Out Of Hel franchise is, to me, only successful because of Jim and Todd, and yet it's Meat that gets given the creative credit they should be getting. Lets analyse some Gaga'a "lyrics" "Judas! Judaas Judas! Judaas Judas! Judaas Judas! GAGA" Holy shit, theres some insight there, beautiful lyrics. Some more "Lets have some fun this beat is sick I wanna take your ride on your disco stick" Honestly, it makes the lyrics in "California isn't big enough" look like poetry. Wilbury called the lyrics in Who Needs the Young trash, and yet will praise dumb ass, meaningless filth like this. Honestly, all of Jim's music has a meaning, he doesnt waste a second. Comparing him to a hack like Gaga (Who has about 4 writers on each track, so what of her songs is actually "hers" is open to debate) is an insult. Jim might be a fan, but the further he keeps any of his songs away from this attention hungry, generic, bore the better. Honestly, people say Rob Evan has no emotion in his voice and yet will praise Gaga's robotic, auto tuned excuse for vocals. > Jim Steinman isn't known to anyone? Ah come on dude Jim is > known all over the world. He isn't known much nowadays > alright because he's doing nothing. > > I think you're being a bit harsh towards Lady Gaga.
