| Dunno. The first I heard of it was here, but checking thru MLFUCK™ last nite shows Meat confirming it, he's now with SONY, distributed WORLDWIDE. You know, I'm reminded of the Bob Dylan story here. He was with Columbia for his entire career except one brief passage in the 70s where he moved to Geffen, I think. In that time, Columbia trawled through some unreleased studio warm-up tracks that Bob had recorded and released them as an album called "Dylan". Bob Dylan was so pissed off he got back on Columbia to make sure they couldn't dick around with his back catalogue of stuff like that again. Now, I'm not suggesting that protecting Midnight At The Lost and Found and Bad Attitude was Meat Loaf's purpose for going to Sony, but it might be a nice sideline benefit?? > > > > > You know, if there WAS a re-release campaign with all of > > > them dressed up in the same way and put back in shops at > > > the same time, then it just might coax more than two > > > people to buy Midnite and Blind Before I Stop. > > > > Why would you want to coax people into buying crap?! > > Wait, when was it announced that Meat Loaf was back with > Sony? I've completely missed this! | |
