That's good. I hope its not a really serious situation.

I think I may have irritated you the other day because I posted Gibson's comments and you thought that I was telling a lie (I presume that is what you meant by "spam" -you asked if anyone else could verify what I had written).

There are rumours circulating about me telling lies but I can assure you that they are not true. I have only lied once on this forum. When I denied being Mr Egg.

You may have seen the accusations about me telling lies on another website. These originate from a message that I posted on this forum.

I said that the people behind The Evening Standard Ad for "BOOH: The Musical" were no longer involved with the show.

Someone then wrote the following to Adam Kenwright's people (who physically placed the ad):

"I was wondering if your firm was still handling Bat Out Of Hell The Musical? Your name is on their official website, but I’ve recently been told by members of the producer’s team that you are no longer involved with the PR of the production. Could you please point me in the direction of their current PR firm? Thank You."

They replied:

"Thanks for your email enquiry. We are still responsible for the marketing and advertising but we were never engaged to do the PR as this is not a service we offer."

That person then jumped to the conclusion that I had lied because Adam Kenwright's people were still involved with the show.

However, I was not talking about the agency that placed the ad. I was refering to the producers who paid for the ad and who asked Adam Kenwright's people to place the ad for them (Adam Kenwright's people organise this kind of thing).

Unfortunately the producers had to jump ship when a show about The Beatles in Hamburg opened and ran into financial problems (the people involved are really good people and they did nothing wrong. It was a case of unfortunate circumstances).

Another time I was accused of telling a lie was when I said that I had read the script for "BOOH: The Musical". I was accused of teling a lie by someone who had not only read the script but who had actually attempted to rewrite it.

Ryan was very brave and stood up for me when someone else said that I was telling a lie about being Elva's son.

He had sent an email to Jim and Elva about a show called "Frankensteinman". I asked him about it on the board and he knew that I was telling the truth about being Elva's son because I couldn't have made the comments that I made if I hadn't read the email.
