Up to just before Kasim quit - I'm not saying that Kasim and the others are not great musicians. As Wilbury said, it was very tight. This was recorded just after Jim had "retaught" Meat Loaf to sing. And it shows. Don't you think? I love the Bat 1 films but this clip and the videos for "Anything For Love" and "Objects" are exciting in another way. Its like Meat and Jim matured as artists during the Bat 2 process. Bat 2 is a worthy sequel which is not an imitation of Bat 1. I think the Letterman Show clip helps to prove that point. I'm so glad that its up on You Tube. I wonder who I have to thank for it. | |
