I've been thinking about that scene from the original Tim Burton film, the creepy scene where the Joker kills Bruce Wayne's parents (I don't know about you, but I thought the murders in "Batman Begins" were nothing compared to the earlier film. That was always frightening for me to watch. Still is.)

I could imagine Bruce having a flashback, a nightmare, and Bruce, Thomas and Martha are walking down Crime Alley, when suddenly they're confronted by the Joker, or whoever he was at that moment in time (I know it was originally Joe Chill but Burton changed it.) And either Bruce is imagining this, looking back, or it really happened...

But instead of the Joker saying the famous line, "Have you ever danced with the devil by the pale moonlight?" he sings that awesome song that Jim wrote,

"A good nightmare
Comes so rarely
While ordinary dreams
Are so easy to find

A good nightmare
Comes so rarely
I'll show you yours
If you'll show me mine..."

And then he shoots.

Bruce/Batman would now be tortured by the Joker, in his mind, who sings a very dark scary sinister rock song, think "Life is a lemon" or "Only when I feel", or like a musical version of Queen's "The Prophets Song"...

That would be a song I'd LOVE to hear!!!

When Jim originally released the demos, I was hoping we might hear a darker solo for the Joker.
