This gender confusion got me interested in this performance, so I've now had a few listens.
I can definitely understand thinking it was a woman on first listen, but I can't understand not being able to comprehend it is a man once you know.
It seems obviously a male to me, but I'm listening with prior knowledge so that doesn't really count.
(But 2:12 in is surely obviously a man, no?).
