Typing that last message made me think...
What exactly is the title "Blind Before I Stop" referring to? The only activity I can think of which, in excess, is rumored to cause blindness is masturbation.
Masturbation is, of course, the act of pleasuring oneself, and normally is done when a sexual partner is not available.
And much of "Blind Before I Stop" was written by Meat himself, ostensibly because Steinman was not available.
