Hee hee. The actor who played Meat Loaf was awful. He had none of Meat's charisma. The actors playing Jim and David were not much better. The Jim one sounded very unsympathetic when Meat lost his voice in the studio.

They must surely have bought the rights to the book. They wouldn't have been allowed to make the movie without them. They certainly wouldn't have been able to make a movie about his life which had the same title as his autobiography. If they did make a movie without his permission, then they would have used a different title.
